The Gulf Coast Powerboat Association is excited to announce that their dry pits for Thunder on the Gulf will be located at the Gulf State Park Pavilion on the beach. The dry pits will be open to the public starting Wednesday going all the way to Sunday from 8am to 10pm. Spectators can check out the massive race boats, racers, festivites, and official race merchandise with a spectacular view of our beautiful coast. They will also be splashing boats at the wet pits, which will be located at the Caribe, cobalt will be open for viewing the wet pits. See you at the races!

Celebrating its 39th year in 2010, the festival attracts over 300,000 people who come to view fine arts and arts and crafts from over 200 artists during the four day festival. Two stages offer continuous musical entertainment while the little one's attention is captured in the Children's Activity Village where they create their own "art" and participate in other fun-filled activities.
