The Pensacola JazzFest, now in its 28th year, is a FREE all-jazz festival held in downtown, historic Seville Square. A state-of-the-art sound system brings the music to wherever you are in the park. In addition to the great music lineup, food, drinks and jazz merchandise will be offered for sale at reasonable prices. The Arts and Crafts Exhibition presents a variety of art items, jewelry, clothing, and more, and has proven to be a popular feature of the JazzFest. In addition, local area vendors will offer some tasty food options for the hungry jazz listeners. Some seating is provided, but your favorite reclining lawn chair will make it just right.

Join Alice as she journeys once again into a magical land filled with fantastical characters and exciting adventures. This time Alice passes through a mirror into The Looking-Glass World where everything is backwards and topsy-turvy. The world is a giant chessboard and Alice must venture across the land in her quest to become a queen. She matches wits with Humpty Dumpty, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and ultimately battles the dreaded beast the Jabberwocky. Tickets range from $10 to $20, youth 12 and under are admitted at half price.

Ravel's popular orchestration of one of his piano compositions begins the night, with elements of a dance suite. Violinist Jennifer Frautschi will then perform Stravinsky's violin concerto, and the 2010-2011 season will end with another of Ravel's masterful orchestrations for a piece originally written for piano. Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition takes the listener through a gallery filled with the works of Viktor Harmann, ending with the triumphal Great Gate at Kiev.
Tickets range from $20-$77.

The place is the Deep South, the time is 1948, just prior to the civil rights movement. Having recently demolished another car, Daisy Werthan, a rich, sharp-tongued Jewish widow of 72, is informed by her son, Boolie, that henceforth she must rely on the services of a chauffer. The person he hires for the job is a thoughtful, unemployed black man, Hoke, whom Miss Daisy immediately regards with disdain and who, in turn, is not impressed with his employer's patronizing tone and, he believes, her latent prejudice. But, in a series of absorbing scenes spanning 25 years, the two, despite their mutual differences, grow ever closer to, and more dependent on each other, until eventually they become almost a couple.

Goombay Gulf Coast has already become the second largest gathering of steel drum bands in the United States, and it continues to grow. Over 25,000 people attended in 2009. Feel the rhythm of some of the best regional and international reggae, calypso, steel drum bands and Caribbean music around. Stilt-walkers, African dance and drum presentations, and a variety of activities will celebrate grassroots ties to the local African-American community.
